Freese is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Though he was able to start the Pirates' past two games after being activated from the disabled list Friday, Freese will get the day off ahead of the afternoon tilt against Robbie Ray the Diamondbacks. Josh Harrison will draw the start at third base, with Gift Ngoepe taking Harrison's spot at the keystone.
