DeShields went 4-for-4 with a run scored in Wednesday's 9-3 win over the Phillies.

The Rangers' No. 8 and 9 hitters, DeShields and Jared Hoying, accounted for nearly half of the team's 17 hits in this one. Three multi-hit performances in his last four games have pushed DeShields' slash line on the season to .282/.347/.341, but with Adrian Beltre (calf) inching closer to a return, the 24-year-old speedster could soon have some extra competition for at-bats in left field if Joey Gallo gets bumped from third base.
