Napoli struck out in all four of his at-bats in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Napoli had batted .324 with six homers and 11 RBI over his last 11 games, but the Red Sox pitching staff threw some cool water on him (and the rest of the Rangers' bats, for that matter). It was the second time this season that Napoli has donned the golden sombrero, elevating his strikeout rate to 31.5 percent, the second-worst mark of his career. Napoli's low-contact ways will continue to make him a sinkhole in batting average, but his recent surge shows that the 35-year-old still packs plenty of power.
