Ramirez (2-0) allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over 5.1 innings, but received no decision Friday against the Yankees.

Ramirez had a solid outing against a strong Yankees lineup, but the Rays offense was unable to give him much run support. Although he's been a strong option out of the bullpen, he's allowed just two runs in 9.1 innings over the two starts he's received. He's a good option to have in leagues in which he can be activated when he's given an occasional start. His next turn in the rotation has yet to be determined.
