Hunter (calf) could return to the Rays without making a second rehab appearance, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Hunter served up a pair of runs on three hits in his rehab appearance with High-A Charlotte on Tuesday, but it seems like the Rays liked what they saw in terms of his health. It's unclear when they plan to activate him, but it seems like his activation could come as soon as this weekend.
