Red Sox P Edwin Escobar activated from DL, optioned to Triple-A

Following Friday's game, the Red Sox announced that they have activated left-hander Edwin Escobar from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Pawtucket, this according to the Providence Journal. 

Escobar made his first and only rehab appearance on Friday after spending all season on the Dl with shoulder inflammation.
