Holt is not in the lineup Saturday against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.
Holt will get Saturday's afternoon game off, avoiding a lefty-lefty matchup against CC Sabathia, as Bryce Brentz makes a spot start in left and bats eighth. Holt has been effective since returning from the concussion list two weeks ago, as he's slashed .364/.440/.636 with a 1.076 OPS over his last six games.
