Buchholz (3-8) allowed five runs, four of which were earned, on seven hits and five walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings to take the loss Sunday at the Rangers.

Buchholz gave up three runs in the first inning, and held the Rangers scoreless until allowing a two-run homer to Prince Fielder in the sixth to force him from the game. In his two starts since returning to the starting rotation, he's allowed seven earned runs in 10.1 innings, and his ERA is at 5.90. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Angels.
