Castillo was removed Triple-A Pawtucket's game Saturday, according to Alex Speier of the Boston Globe.
The decision to remove Castillo came after we learned Boston left fielder Blake Swihart left Saturday's game against the Blue Jays with an ankle injury. Pending Swihart's status, Castillo could be called up to Boston in time for Sunday's series finale against the Blue Jays.
