Cabrera is starting at catcher and batting eighth against San Diego on Saturday, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Cabrera is making just his second start in the last seven games while Tucker Barnhart gets a maintenance day. After compiling a five-game hitting streak from late May into early June, Cabrera has cooled off, hitting just .235 over his last six games.
