Reds recall C Skipworth, DFA INF Dominguez

The Reds announced they have recalled catcher Kyle Skipworth from Double-A Pensacola to fill the roster spot vacated with the trade of starter Johnny Cueto, in addition to designating utility man Chris Dominguez for assignment.

Skipworth was with the Reds earlier in the season, but did not enter a game before being optioned in April. He was hitting .237 in 42 games at Double-A.

Dominguez appeared in 14 games with the Reds, hitting .261 with two homers and five RBIs.
