Cingrani notched his fifth save of the season with a clean inning in Saturday's 6-3 victory over the Nationals.
The 26-year-old southpaw preserved the rousing victory for the Reds, which came on the strength of a three-run blast by Adam Duvall in the eighth inning. Cingrani now has back-to-back scoreless outings, after being touched up for three earned runs in less than an inning against the Rockies on May 30. He's been an adventure in the late innings, blowing three of four save opportunities at one point in May, but also amassing six holds in addition to his five saves.
