Parra went 2-for-5 with a triple, a double, four RBI and a run scored to help the Rockies to a 12-10 win over the Nationals.

Parra did all his damage early, tagging Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg for the pair of extra-base hits in the first and second innings before Strasburg was removed after just 1.2 innings of work. Parra has been in a bit of a funk of late, hitting just .224 over his last 15 games. The Rockies' outfielder has had a mediocre season overall, hitting .259 with five home runs, 35 runs scored and 32 RBI. Perhaps the big night off against one of the league's best pitchers will help Parra, a career .275 hitter, turn things around.
