Royals pitcher Greg Holland to miss rest of season

Royals pitcher Greg Holland (elbow) will be shut down for the rest of the season. It was thought that Holland would only miss a few days due to the soreness in his elbow, but it turns out the setback will sideline him much longer than originally expected.

The extent of Holland's setback is uncertain, but it's possible it could affect his status for the 2016 season. Wade Davis will serve as the Royals' closer for the rest of the current campaign.
