Davis (forearm) could be activated as soon as Saturday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander was said to be pain-free just days after landing on the DL, and while he won't return for the first game of the second half, it sounds like Davis will be activated in short order. Davis' strikeouts are down and his walks are up from a year ago, with his FIP coming in at more than double his ERA (2.70), but he's the unquestioned closer in Kansas City and still one of the more valuable closers in fantasy baseball.
