Teagarden has been suspended 80 games for violating the Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program, Rich Dubroff of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

The 32-year-old appeared in only eight games with the Cubs last year and is currently without a team. It's entirely possible Teagarden has played his last game at the major league level, but he may be able to land a minor league depth role once the suspension is served. Teagarden was caught on camera discussing PED use in an infamous Al Jazeera report from earlier this year.
