Tigers' John Hicks: Sent back to Triple-A

Hicks was optioned to Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.

Hicks didn't see any game action in his most recent stint in the bigs, which lasted all of two days. His reassignment makes room for the return of veteran Victor Martinez, who sat out the last three games while on the paternity list attending the birth of his third child.
