Greene (finger) will pitch out of the bullpen now that he has been activated from the disabled list, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Manager Brad Ausmus announced that Greene will work in a lower-leverage role as a reliever, primarily using him in the sixth or seventh innings. Greene owns a 6.28 ERA with 11 strikeouts and nine walks in 14.1 innings.
