Tigers' Victor Martinez: Scratched from lineup Wednesday for rest.

Martinez was scratched from Wednesday's lineup in order to get an extra day of rest.

The move to scratch Martinez from the lineup on getaway day will afford the veteran an extra day of rest before the Tigers return to action Friday against the Rays. Steven Moya will take Martinez's spot at DH for Wednesday's game against Ricky Nolasco and the Twins.
