Palka was promoted to Triple-A Rochester on Thursday. He was hitting .270/.348/.547 with 21 home runs at Double-A Chattanooga.
Palka continues to show great power as he's hit 20 or more home runs in three consecutive minor league seasons. However, he'll need to make better contact (29 percent strikeout rate at Double-A) to thrive above Double-A. Still, a September call-up isn't out of the question if he gets hot at Rochester.
