Twins pitcher Casey Fien won't likely have the same role he had before going on the disabled list, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Reliever Blaine Boyer has supplanted himself in the setup man role, according to manager Paul Molitor.

"I like what Boyer's done," Molitor said. "I think everyone has a lot of confidence when he's in the game late right now. Not to say that can't change.

"I guess if I had to say right now, in the short term, most likely Fien would precede Boyer in a ball game."

Fien is expected to return from the disabled list this week after battling a shoulder injury for the last month. Fien is 1-2 with a 4.35 ERA in 10 1/3 innings of work.
