Jay (neck) pitched a bullpen session Wednesday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
The severity of the first-rounder's (2015) ailment was formerly pretty murky, but it seems like Jay is steadily working his way toward game action. It's unclear when those innings will come, but that should become clear as Jay works out more in the coming days.
