Yankees catcher Brian McCann and catching prospect Gary Sanchez both collected their first home runs of spring in Friday's 7-4 win over the Tigers.

McCann went 1 for 2 and hit a solo home run off Detroit starter Max Scherzer. He signed a five-year deal with the Yankees this offseason.

Sanchez, who served as the team's designated hitter in the starting lineup, went 1 for 3 with a third-inning solo home run off reliever Jose Ortega. Sanchez was named a top-50 prospect overall by both Baseball America and MLB.com this offseason.
