Sabathia (ankle) said he's "ready to go" for his scheduled start Tuesday against the Rangers, the New York Daily News reports.

After allowing a season-high six runs his last outing against the Rockies, Sabathia was diagnosed with twisted right ankle. Everything went as planned with his bullpen session between starts, but Sabathia faces a difficult matchup Tuesday against a Rangers squad that ranks sixth in MLB as a team in wOBA against left-handed pitching (.341).
