Gregorius is not in the lineup Friday against the Athletics, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
Gregorius is in the midst of a 17-game hit streak in which he's batting .361, but he'll get his first breather in 14 games with lefty Sean Manaea toeing the rubber for Oakland. Ronald Torreyes will take over at shortstop in his place.
