Ellsbury was removed from Saturday's game against the Red Sox with a right knee injury, Wallace Matthews of ESPN New York reports.
Ellsbury crashed into the wall in center field in the seventh inning and came up favoring his knee. Brett Gardner took over for Ellsbury in center field.
