Refsnyder was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, Josh Norris of Baseball America reports.

Refsnyder has been impressive with the Triple-A club thus far, batting .293 with 10 RBI and six stolen bases, so the Yankees decided to reward him with a callup. There's no word as to who will be sent down to make room for the second baseman on the major league roster, although it may not be much of an issue considering he could very well be sent back to the minors once Alex Rodriguez (hamstring) returns from the disabled list Thursday. Regardless, Refsnyder may be limited in his time with New York as long as Starlin Castro keeps impressing as the Yankees' everyday second baseman.
