The 32-year-old has started every game since the All-Star break ended, but will be replaced by Aaron Hicks in center for Friday's matchup.

    • Ellsbury went 2-for-5 with a walk, two runs scored, three RBI and his fourth home run of the season in Sunday's win over the Indians. He's been alternating good months with quiet ones so far this season, and the pattern is holding true as Ellsbury is slashing .333/.381/.436 through the first nine games of July with five multi-hit performances. Hopefully the All-Star break won't slow his momentum.
