Nationals minor-league catcher Brian Jeroloman is still dealing with concussion symptoms, according to MASN. Jeroloman was involved in a collision during the Double-A playoffs last season. He's still had some issues with the injury during camp. Jeroloman is expected to provide depth in the team's system.
The Pirates traded cash considerations to the Indians Friday for 27-year-old catcher Brian Jeroloman. Jeroloman has spent his entire professional career in the minors, putting up a .240/.371/.335 triple-slash line. He hit .136 in 22 spring at bats, and will likely be sent to Triple-A for the Pirates.
