    • Athletics' Jarrod Parker: Outrighted to minors
      By RotoWire Staff

Parker (elbow) was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville of Friday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. In a series of procedural moves, Oakland sent three pitchers on the 60-day DL down to the minors Friday. Parker missed all of 2016 after undergoing surgery in April to repair his flexor tendon and UCL complex, but he'll now head into the offseason with his sights set on being ready by the start of spring training. The 28-year-old hasn't pitched in the majors since 2013 though, so it's no guarantee he'll make it back to the big leagues right away even if he's healthy.

    • Parker (elbow) successfully underwent surgery Wednesday to reconstruct his flexor tendon and UCL complex, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Parker fractured his elbow earlier in the month, but the problem has reportedly been fixed. Now, as Parker has experienced multiple times before, the right-hander will have to go through a lengthy rehab process in order to be ready to pitch again. He'll return to Arizona on Saturday, after which we could see a better timetable for his return.

    • Parker (elbow) will go through a full rehab process in hopes of pitching again, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. No one could have faulted Parker had he decided to hang up the cleats after years of arm injuries and another lengthy rehab process on tap, but he will attempt to make another comeback. He will undergo elbow surgery Apr. 1, after which the A's figure to release a timetable for his recovery.

    • Athletics' Jarrod Parker: To undergo surgery
      By RotoWire Staff

Parker (elbow) will undergo surgery on April 1, Carl Steward of the Bay Area News Group reports. The Athletics have not released any information regarding the surgery yet, but it's looking more and more likely that Parker could miss most, or all, of the 2016 campaign after sustaining a fracture to his throwing elbow last week.

    • Parker (elbow) will see Dr. Neil El Attrache about his elbow Tuesday in L.A. for a C.T. scan and checkup, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports. His visit to the doctor should shed some more light on the severity of the fracture and likelihood of his return this season. However, given the fact that the injury is in the same elbow that forced him to miss the majority of the 2015 season, it seems likely that he will miss most, if not all, of the 2016 season.
