Phillies pitcher Jeremy Horst has fully recovered from a sprained left elbow, and was able to make his first appearance of the spring Saturday against the Yankees. Horst looked a bit rusty in his first action since last June, as he struggled to find the strike zone in his lone inning of work. He was tagged for two runs on two hits and two walks, without retiring a batter on strikes. Horst struggled through the 2013 season, finishing with a 6.23 ERA in 26 innings before being shut down.
