    • Giants' Hak-Ju Lee: Shows newfound power
      By RotoWire Staff

Lee went 1-for-4 while hitting a double in Sunday's game against the Salt Lake Bees. After losing a lot of his allure due to injuries, Lee has been off to a solid start to the 2016 season by posting a batting average of .286 and an on-base percentage of .342 over 10 games. Over that time, he's displayed more power than usual, picking up four doubles, a triple, and a home run. However, this has come at a cost as he's striking out at a very high rate (12 strikeouts in 38 plate appearances).

He was designated for assignment by the Rays and became a free agent this offseason. He'll likely be starting the 2016 season in the Giants' minor league system, especially with Brandon Crawford as the club's starting shortstop.
