Diamondbacks rookie RP Matt Gorgen's season is over before it gets a chance to begin. According to The Arizona Republic, Gorgen needs Tommy John surgery and is done for the season. "It's a tough break, but I'll rehab and get ready for next year," he said. "Hopefully this time next year I'll be throwing again." Gorgen said he felt tightness in his forearm and had an MRI taken -- the results showed the tear. His twin brother Scott, who is in the Cardinals organization, had the same surgery done in October and will begin his throwing program on Monday. "It's one of those things that happens and you've got to deal with it and move on," he said.
