The Brewers optioned right-hander Taylor Jungmann and right-hander Corey Knebel down to Triple-A Colorado Springs. Catcher Adam Weisenberger was sent back down to minor-league camp, per the team's official website.
The Brewers announced Wednesday they handed out six non-roster invites to spring training. Topping the list are outfielder Mitch Haniger, who is considered the Brewers' third-best prospect by Baseball America, and pitcher David Goforth, who is considered the team's eighth-best prospect. The remaining players on the list are outfielder Kentrail Davis, catcher Cameron Garfield, outfielder Kevin Mattison and catcher Adam Weisenburger.
