Rodriguez was traded from the Brewers to the Tigers on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Even at 33-years-old, Rodriguez had another All-Star season, posting a 2.21 ERA and a 0.86 WHIP in 57.0 innings. He held a 62:11 K:BB ratio and notched 38 saves. The Tigers have been in the market for a strong option to shore up the back-end of their bullpen and Rodriguez seems to fit the bill. It's unknown who is being sent back to Milwaukee in this deal.

The closer has completely altered his arsenal by throwing less fastballs and more breaking balls and it's doing wonders for the 33-year-old.

Fortunately for him, the Brewers were able to re-take the lead in the next inning, and this time they were able to hang on for the win. Rodriguez is now 34-for-36 in save chances this year.
