The Miami Marlins have inquired about free-agent infielder Yuniesky Betancourt , the Miami Herald reports. If signed, Betancourt would likely start at third base for the Marlins.
Betancourt's agent said that his client would have interest in playing in Miami, but he did not comment on the team's reported interest. Betancourt hit .212/.240/.355 with 13 home runs and 46 RBI in 391 at-bats with the Brewers last season.
