    Tim Dillard re-signs with Brewers

    The Brewers signed pitcher Tim Dillard to a minor-league deal Thursday. Dillard had been pitching in the independent Atlantic League, after spending his entire career with the Brewers. The 30-year-old last appeared in 34 games with the Brewers in 2012, and has a 4.70 career ERA in 84 1/3 innings at the major-league level.

    The Brewers signed reliever Tim Dillard to a minor league contract, the club announced Saturday. Dillard appeared in 73 games for Milwaukee between 2008 and 2012. He owns a 4.70 ERA (89 ERA+) and a 1.470 WHIP.

    Dillard outrighted to Triple-A

    The Brewers recalled pitcher Tyler Thornburg from Triple-A Nashville and he will report to the team Friday, reports the team. The team outrighted Tim Dillard back to Nashville in his place.
