    Diamondbacks recall six players from minors

    The Diamondbacks made a number of moves to their roster on Tuesday, the team announced. Arizona recalled Jhoulys Chacin , Andrew Chafin , Jamie Romak and Allen Webster from Triple-A Reno, while also bringing up Socrates Brito from Double-A Mobile. Pitcher Evan Marshall was also recalled from Reno, and will be added to the 60-day disabled list.

    The Diamondbacks reinstated pitcher Randall Delgado (ankle) from the 15-day disabled list Monday. To clear a roster spot, infielder/outfielder Jamie Romak was optioned to Triple-A Reno.

    Diamondbacks promote P Keith Hessler, 3B Jamie Romak

    The Diamondbacks have promoted pitcher Keith Hessler and third baseman Jamie Romak, per MLB.com. Hessler has been lights-out in advancing from Class A to Triple-A this season and compiling a 1.68 ERA. He has allowed just 37 hits in 53 2/3 innings with 11 walks and 62 strikeouts. Romak has been tearing it up at Triple-A Reno with a slash line of .289/.373/.554 and 87 RBI in just 395 at-bats.

    Pete O'Brien, Danny Worth among seven Diamondbacks' cuts

    The Diamondbacks reassigned seven players to minor league camp on Sunday. Players cut from the Major League team included: Catcher/infielder Peter O'Brien, a former second-round draft pick acquired by the D-Backs from the Yankees last season. O'Brien hit .250 in 13 spring games. Infielder Danny Worth, signed as an offseason free agent after five years with the Tigers. Worth hit .286 this spring. RHP Jake Barrett, a third-round pick in 2012. He had a 9.00 ERA in four spring games. OF Danny Dorn, who hit .194. OF Nick Evans, who hit .211 RHP J.C. Ramirez, who had a 6.00 ERA in five games. Utility man Jamie Romak, who hit .286.

    Jamie Romak to report to Alburquerque

    Three days after he was designated, outfielder Jamie Romak has cleared waivers and accepted his assignment by the Dodgers to Triple-A Alburquerque. Romak managed just one hit in 21 at-bats this season and was hitless in his last 14 at-bats.

    Dodgers call up Jamie Romak

    The Dodgers have called up infielder Jamie Romak to take the roster spot of the injured Carl Crawford. Romak, who has yet to play in a major-league game, has hit .272/.354/.578 with 13 home runs and 30 RBI in 180 at-bats with Triple-A Albuquerque. He's made most of his appearances at third base this season, but he also has played extensive in the outfield and at first base.

    Dodgers sign Jamie Romak to minor-league deal

    The Dodgers have signed first baseman/outfielder Jamie Romak to a minor league deal, MLBTradeRumors.com reports. The deal has an opt-out clause if Romak isn't in the majors by July 1. Romak hit .242/.322/.461 with 22 home runs and 74 RBI in 458 at-bats with Triple-A Springfield last season. He has yet to make an appearances in the majors.
