Indians pitcher Anthony Swarzak getting stronger throughout spring

Indians pitcher Anthony Swarzak is getting into form for the beginning of the regular season. Swarzak, who is a non-roster invitee to camp, has not surrendered a run or a hit in his last two appearances while adding four strikeouts. "He was really good his first outing," pitching coach Mickey Callaway said. "And then had a few outings where he wasn't as good, just as far as getting ahead. The last couple, he's really done a good job with the little things -- getting ahead, controlling the count -- and it's paid off with strikeouts and really good stuff. It seems like he's getting better and better as camp goes on." Swarzak is feeling more confident as spring training rolls on. "The whole spring, health-wise, I've felt really good," Swarzak said. "I've felt almost ahead of schedule, so those three rough innings I had in a row were tough to swallow, because I felt so good. I'm glad I kind of got it worked out and things are starting to roll for me a little bit."
