    • Angels cut fat from camp

News: The Angels reassigned the following players to minor league camp on Saturday: 2B Luis R. Figueroa, C Flint Wipke, C Anel De Los Santos, C Alberto Rosario, RP David Austen, RP Barrett Browning, SP Fernando Rodriguez, P Ryan Brasier, SP Daniel Davidson, SP Matt Palmer, P Francisco Rodriguez, RP Matt Wilhite, RP Alex Torres and RP Eddie McKiernan.
Analysis: All of these players are nothing more than organizational depth and can be ignored in all Fantasy leagues.
    • Angels hand out 25 non-roster invites

News: The Angels have invited the following 25 players to spring training as non-roster invitees: RHP David Austen, RHP Ryan Brasier, LHP Barret Browning, LHP Dan Davidson, RHP David Herndon, RHP Sean O'Sullivan, RHP Matt Palmer, RHP Fernando Rodriguez, RHP Francisco Rodriguez, LHP Alex Torres, RHP Jordan Walden, RHP Matt Wilhite, C Hank Conger, C Anel De Los Santos, C Ben B. Johnson, C Alberto Rosario, C Flint Wipke, 2B Luis R. Figueroa, SS Ryan Mount, SS Adam Pavkovich, SS Andrew Romine, SS Hainley Statia, OF Peter Bourjos, OF Bradley Coon and OF Christopher Pettit.
Analysis: Walden, O'Sullivan and Conger are top prospects worth stashing in long-term keeper leagues at this point. The rest of these players figure to spend the entire season in the minors without hardly making noise in Fantasy circles. You can ignore them in all leagues at this point.
    • Angels make another round of cuts

News: The Angels reassigned RHP Henry Bonilla, RHP Nick Green, RHP Jeff Kennard, RHP Kasey Olenberger, RHP Matt Wilhite, 3B Matt Brown, SS Sean Rodriguez and 2B Freddy Sandoval to minor league camp Sunday.
Analysis: Rodriguez has nice pop for a shortstop prospect, while Green was a candidate to start amid the absence of John Lackey (triceps) but is nothing more than an in-season option now. The other players are nothing more than organizational depth at this point and can be ignored in all Fantasy leagues on Draft Day.
    • Angels hand out spring invites

News: The Angels signed RHP Henry Bonilla, OF Dee Brown and OF Chad Hermansen to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Also, they invited RHP Nick Adenhart, RHP Stephen Marek, RHP Darren O'Day, RHP Kasey Olenberger, RHP Fernando Rodriguez, RHP Rafael Rodriguez, RHP Alex Serrano, RHP Matt Wilhite, C Hank Conger, C Anel De Los Santos, C Tim Duff, 2B Ryan Mount, 2B Adam Pavkovich, SS P.J. Phillips, 3B Freddy Sandoval, SS Hainley Statia, 2B Nate Sutton and OF Peter Bourjos to spring training.
Analysis: Adenhart and Conger are top prospects worth considering in all long-term keeper leagues. All of these other spring invites figure to open in the minor leagues and be nothing more than organizational depth this season, so ignore them on Draft Day.
    • Angels make some final cuts

News: The Angels reassigned RHP Alex Serrano, RHP Matt Wilhite and OF Curtis Pride to minor-league camp. Also, they optioned RHP Chris Resop down.
Analysis: None of these guys project to impact any Fantasy leagues now or beyond. Resop used to be a decent relief prospect, but ignore these guys.
    • Angels hand out spring invites

News: The Angels invited OF Curtis Pride, RHP Ryan Aldridge, RHP Nick Green, RHP Marcus Gwyn, RHP Matt Hensley, RHP Tommy Mendoza, RHP Robert Mosebach, RHP Casey Olenberger, RHP Alex Serrano, RHP Matt Wilhite, C Tim Duff, C Brent Del Chiaro, C Ben Johnson, C Flint Wipke, INF Thomas Eylward, SS Sean Rodriguez, INF Casey Smith, INF Hainley Statia, OF Nathan Haynes and OF Aaron Peel to spring training.
Analysis: All of these players spent last season in the Angels system and will likely be minor league depth, nothing more. Ignore all of them on Draft Day.
