    Braves third baseman Chris Johnson is reportedly going to be activated on Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. The team later confirmed the report. Johnson, who was on the 15-day DL with a hand injury, will be called up a little earlier than expected after the team completed a trade for Alberto Callaspo, leaving a vacant spot on the roster. The team will also call up pitcher Donnie Veal to join the bullpen. Both will be with the team for Wednesday's game. Johnson is hitting .279 with five RBI in 43 at-bats this season.
