Morrow, who is on the 60-day disabled list, threw three sets of 15 pitches during the simulated game. He felt fine after the throws and is expected to begin a rehab assignment sometime in the near future. "I thought he threw the ball well," Padres interim manager Pat Murphy said. We haven't decided exactly where." Morrow said the team doesn't have a clear plan on when he can return to the rotation, but Saturday's simulated game was surely a step in the right direction. "I'm feeling good. ... We've just been taking everything step by step this time. They didn't really show me a whole, planned-out schedule."
