      The Dodgers have signed journeyman first baseman Mike Carp to a minor-league deal, CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman reports. Carp will make $1 million if he earns a major-league promotion. Carp, who was released by Washington on April 6, is expected to join Triple-A Oklahoma City. He earned 126 at-bats in 2014, but hit no home runs. He had 27 homers in 761 major league at-bats previously.
