      Bochy: Three ailing Giants outfielders could be done for year

      Bruce Bochy has stated that Giants outfielders Gregor Blanco (concussion), Nori Aoki (concussion) and Hunter Pence (oblique) might all be done for the season, per the Bay Area News Group. If Blanco is indeed out for the year, he will finish it with a slash line of .291/.369/.413 and 59 runs in just 327 at-bats. Aoki has been sidelined since Sept. 3. He too would end the year with strong numbers, including a .287 average. Injuries have limited Pence to just 52 games this season. He has still managed 40 RBI in 207 at-bats. Bochy is more optimistic about his return in 2015 than the other two.

      Giants OF Gregor Blanco has concussion; Jarrett Parker recalled

      Giants outfielder Gregor Blanco has been diagnosed with a concussion. Blanco spent time on the 7-day concussion list earlier this season after an errand throw hit him in the head during batting practice. Blanco has played in all but one of the team's games so far in September, but it is not yet known if he will be able to return this season. Outfielder Jarrett Parke r was recalled from Triple-A Sacaramento to take Blanco's place on the roster.

Blanco has been on a tremendous roll. He has hit safely in his last six games with two three-hit efforts included.
