    • O's assign nine to minors

News: reports that 1B Michael Aubrey, 3B Josh Bell, 1B Brandon Snyder, 1B Rhyne Hughes, OF Jonathan Tucker, RP Dennis Sarfate, SS Pedro Florimon, RP Frank J. Mata and RP Josh M. Perrault were assigned by the Orioles to Minor League camp.
Analysis: Aubrey had been battling a sore groin and never seriously challenged Garrett Atkins for the first base job. He can be ignored in all but the deepest AL-only leagues. Bell and Snyder are considered two of the Orioles' best prospects, but they need time to develop and are nothing more than long-term Fantasy keepers. The remaining players are mostly organizational depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.
    • Orioles extend six more spring invites

News: The Orioles have extended six more non-roster invites to spring training in Sarasota: catchers Adam Donachie and Luis Bernardo; infielders Blake Davis and Miguel Abreu; and outfielders Jonathan Tucker and Matt Angle.
Analysis: These players are nothing more than organizational depth at this point. They don't figure to make the team out of spring training and likely get nothing more than spot duty if called up to the major leagues this season. Ignore him in all Fantasy leagues on Draft Day.
    • Three O's sent to minors camp

News: The O's returned 2B Jonathan Tucker, SS Blake Davis and OF Sebastien Boucher to minor league camp Sunday.
Analysis: None of these players project to make a Fantasy impact in 2008 and they are not top prospects worthy of your consideration in long-term keeper leagues at this point. Ignore them.
