    Seven players outrighted by Marlins

    The Marlins outrighted the following players Monday: pitchers Kevin Slowey, Jose Ceda, Steven Ames and Zach Phillips, catcher Koyie Hill, first baseman Joe Mahoney and infielder Gil Velazquez . Each of the players played some portion of the 2013 season with the Marlins, except for Ceda, who continued to recover from Tommy John surgery.

After tossing two scoreless innings for the Gulf Coast League Marlins (rookie), Ceda has fired a scoreless inning for Class A Jupiter. Ceda has struck out five batters in three innings, while not allowing a hit or walk.
