      Barney agreed to a one-year contract with the Blue Jays on Wednesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports. While Barney fared well at the plate in a small sample with the Blue Jays after coming over in a post-waiver-deadline deal, it's his glove that's earned him another major league contract. Barney, now 30, is a .246/.294/.339 career hitter at the highest level. Look for him to provide middle-infield depth for Toronto to start the season.
