    • Denove reassigned by Reds

News: The Reds reassigned C Chris Denove to minor-league camp on Monday. Denove had just two at-bats this spring.
Analysis: Denove has no real chance of making an impact at the major-league level and is not on the radar for a call up during the regular season. He should be ignored in Fantasy.
    • Reds send five to minor league camp

News: The Reds have reassigned RP Alexander Smit, C Brandon Yarbrough, OF Danny Dorn, C Chris Denove and RP Jose Arrendondo to minor league camp.
Analysis: Arrendondo is the only player on this list worrying about in Fantasy play, but he will miss all of the 2010 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March. The rest are just organizational depth.
    • Reds announce spring training invites

News: The Reds have invited the following non-roster players to spring training: infielders Chris Burke and Zackary Cozart; outfielders Josh Anderson, Todd Frazier and Laynce Nix; catchers Wilkin Castillo, Chris Denove, Devin Mesoraco, Corky Miller and Brandon Yarbrough; and pitchers Mike Leake, Justin Lehr and Alexander Smit.
Analysis: Frazier is a intriguing long-term keeper league stashee, while Burke is versatile, Nix has pop and Anderson has steals potential. These guys will compete for reserve or, in the case of the pitchers, a bullpen job this spring, but we don't rate them as anything more than late-round fliers in the deepest of NL-only leagues at this point.
    • Reds cut seven from camp

News: The Reds assigned 1B Yonder Alonso to Double-A Carolina, and reassigned C Humberto Cota, C Chris Denove, INF Todd Frazier, C Devin Mesoraco, OF Drew Stubbs and INF Chris Valaika to minor league camp on Tuesday.
Analysis: Alonso is an elite talent out of the University of Miami but will need time and seasoning to develop into a major league player. He is only worth owning in long-term keeper leagues at this point. Valaika, Frazier, Stubbs and Valaika are also a stud long-term keeper prospects worth holding on to in keeper leagues. The rest can be ignored.
    • Reds add C Denove to spring invites

News: The Cincinnati Reds invited C Chris Denove to spring training camp.
Analysis: Denove is nothing more than organizational depth at this point in his career. Ignore him in all Fantasy leagues right now.
