Rays' Logan Morrison: Dealt to Rays

Morrison has been traded to Tampa Bay as part of a six-player trade, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports. Morrison has been dealt to the Rays along with Danny Farquhar and Brad Miller in exchange for Nathan Karns, C.J Riefenhauser, and Boog Powell. The 28-year-old Morrison struggled all season to get on base (.302 OBP) and his power numbers dwindled in the second half, registering just five home runs after the break. He'll add some versatility to the Rays given that he can play first base and left field.
