    Brewers sign David Herndon to minor-league deal

    The Brewers have signed pitcher David Herndon to a minor-league deal, MLB.com reports. The deal does not include an invitation to big-league camp. Herndon has dealt with injuries the past three seasons but was able to reach 92 mph on the radar gun this week. He made just five Triple-A appearances with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2014, giving up 12 earned runs in 8 1/3 innings.

    Yankees re-sign David Herndon to minor-league deal

    The Yankees have re-signed pitcher David Herndon to a minor-league deal, the Journal News reports. Herndon, 28, owns a 3.85 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 76:42 K:BB ratio in 117 innings spread over three major-league seasons. He pitched on four different levels in the Yankees organization in 2013, surrendering just two earned runs in 20 innings between Double-A and Triple-A.
